Our new title for the enrichment program, previously called Discovery Club, reflects our library’s support and dedication to learning. MCPL, as an establishment, has made much progress in providing different resources to home-schooled families.

This fall, the Lone Jack Branch is experimenting with programs providing basic computer training in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. These skills will provide necessary tools for modern education and increase confidence in students’ performance. As a part of this program, students will create documents pertaining to each program and present them to the group.

Today, September 22, they have checked out books on the most interesting topics for their research. I can’t wait to see their presentations!
