Homeschoolers @ The Library

Colbern Road has unbelievable upcoming programs as part of our Homeschoolers @ The Library series. Every month, kids can experience a new topic first-hand. These programs supplement a homeschool curriculum, with a focus to Missouri’s Show-Me Standards subject areas. However, they are open to both homeschoolers and traditionally educated children, ages 5-12.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s an eagle-owl! Our first program on Thursday, September 22nd at 3 p.m. is Take Flight with an Eagle-Owl. You heard right; two live eagle-owls will be in the library! Meet one of the biggest owls in the world, Swoop, and examine owl pellets. You can take photographs, too. Hope to see you there!
