Tired of being on the dieting merry-go-round? Ready for a nutritional makeover? Then, I think you will enjoy reading Michael Pollan’s Food Rules: An Eater’s Manual. In this 140 page easy read, Pollan shares 64 simple principles for healthy eating including:
- # 1 Eat food (instead of edible foodlike substances).
- #37 The whiter the bread, the sooner you’ll be dead.
- #54 Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper.
- #64 Break the rules once in a while.
(This was my favorite! Since I am a chocoholic, I really appreciated this one!)
The book takes only an hour or two to read, but Pollan’s tips could change your eating habits and your health for a lifetime.
