Have Fun Knitting
July 01, 2011
When I want to do a little needlework, and I always do, I look for inspiration at the library. There are wonderful books for knitters, crochet, tatting, quilters, and some kinds of needlework you've never heard of. Also, I like to go to YouTube and get great instruction for special techniques.
MCPL has some wonderful knitting books. But my favorite place of all to get inspired and show off my creations is www.ravelry.com. Spinners, knitters, and those who love crochet will find kindred souls sharing their projects, opinions on yarns, techniques, sources, and thousands of free patterns. I spend so much time looking at Ravelry that I'm not getting any knitting done.
