Happy Opening Day, Play Ball!

March 31, 2011

Happy Day, the Boys in Blue are back in town. Is Baseball still America's favorite pastime? I'm not sure, but I do know that some of my favorite memories have been cheering with my chums at the ballpark. I met a young man a few years ago that was living out his dream with his Dad to attend a game at every major league stadium in the country. They were half way through their schedule, and had great plans of continuing until they had visited all of them. I thought that was so cool. What a great adventure for a dad and his son! I remember going to Royals games with my dad, happy times, indeed. I've been to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and that was a fantastic trip.  I won't visit every ballpark in the country and I probably won't return to the Hall of Fame, but I did find some great books on the shelf to help me celebrate Opening Day.

Enjoy and here's hoping for a winning season for the Boys in Blue!
