Ray Bradbury, prolific author of short stories, novels, plays, essays, verse, and film will turn 90 years old August 22, 2010.

- Read, listen to, or view on DVD his brilliant works available from our library. MCPL also has copies of Fahrenheit 451 in a Young Adult Graphic Novel version. The Bradbury Chronicles: the Life of Ray Bradbury, the definitive and authorized biography about Bradbury by Sam Weller, is also available for checkout. The Bradbury Chronicles received the prestigious Society of Midland Authors award for best biography in 2005. Mr. Weller’s latest book, Listen to the Echoes: the Ray Bradbury Interviews is currently on order.
- Join our Parkville book discussion group starting October 5, 2010 at 7:00pm. We will be reading Bradbury’s thrilling novel, Something Wicked this Way Comes.
