GREAT DATABASE!

If you are an American History buff like me or a student researching historical subjects, do I have a database for you? This database is available online, and is titled American History in Video. It has full length Documentaries, many of which have been broadcast on the History Channel, A&E and PBS. I have spent a small fortune on buying DVDs of many of these documentaries, but here you can watch them as many times as you want for free. There are many newsreels to access as well. Special software is not required. The database has a search engine to go to a specific subject, and is also broken down by key time periods throughout American history to choose from. When a specific documentary is selected, it will give you a screen with the video/audio presentation. Once again, it is a service provided completely free for our patrons.
