Going Through a Tough Time? Let Us Help!

February 06, 2013

Divorce? Financial problems? Loss of a loved one? Need a new job? Trouble with raising or having children?

According to the beloved movie Forrest Gump, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get." However, we all have those times when we bite into that yucky piece of chocolate…if this is one of those times for you, come visit the Library!

Tough times are hard to navigate. GOOD advice is hard to come by. So…I say, try a book. A book can offer advice, an escape, or a distraction. Friends are great, but they can’t be there every minute.

Come by the Library and we will be happy to help you find a book for your time of need! Books can be a great comfort during tough times.

Click on any of the following links to see what we have in our catalog:

  • Divorce
  • Personal Finances
  • Loss of a Loved One
  • Careers (New or Advancement)
  • Fertility/Infertility
  • Parenting
  • The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom  (very funny)
  • The Hobbit  (a good book to escape into)
