Going Green @ the Library
September 22, 2012
In this day and age, we all have to pitch in and help where ever we can. The Library system is doing just that. We are going green. We are trying out new vacuums as one piece to the whole puzzle of just what it means to "go green."
The vacuum straps to your back, and all you have is the hose and handle to deal with. The attachments are on the belt that is strapped to you along with the cord. Pretty neat sounding, right?
The vacuum is very affordable and energy efficient, too—using only 9.9 amps, it uses less energy than a standard coffee maker. It’s very quiet, ranking in at 67 decibels. That's just a little over normal conversation level. Plus, it only weighs about 10 pounds! It's a pretty all-around fantastic green vacuum.
And once I am strapped in, I look like the Moonman MTV award statue!
