Gatsby Days in Excelsior Springs!

What is Gatsby Days you ask?
That was my question not that long ago, being a newcomer to the Excelsior area. Turns out, it's not a F. Scott Fitzgerald fiction festival, much to my own initial confusion and embarrassment. It's actually a celebration of Excelsior Springs's Prohibition Era history as a resort destination (Which even as a librarian I have to admit is far more fun...)

There are events all this weekend, including a carnival next door to the library! You can check out the flyer for a full calendar of events.
