Future and Past X-Men Movies

November 05, 2012

In 2000, a movie was released that captured audiences around the world – a movie that improved the use of "superhero" movies in a new light. That movie was X-Men. Marvel was "banking" (pun intended) on this movie making enough money to be able to fund new Marvel Movies such as Daredevil, Spider-Man, and Hulk, which it did. X-Men became the ninth-highest grossing film in 2000.

Because of its popularity, the X-Men movie franchise was able to continue on with four other movies. Now, fans of the world are excited for even more X-Men movie madness from this franchise. Well, their pleas have been heard.

On July 26, 2013, a new stand-alone film entitled The Wolverine is to be released. It’s to center around famous X-Man Wolverine (aka James "Logan" Howlett) and his adventures – or misadventures – in Japan. Also in 2013, a sequel to the popular prequel, X-Men: First Class, is scheduled to go into production. Fans everywhere are excited for these two new movies, as well as the rumors of other possible X-Men movies.

The Wolverine as well as X-Men: Days of Future Past are sure to be just as popular as the previous X-Men movies before them, and just like the others, MCPL is sure to be one of the first to have it for you. Checking new movies out from the Library is both a cost-conscientious and reliable way to see new feature films without the hassle.
