Want to hear Teddy Roosevelt's actual voice as he delivered a rousing speech? Or, listen to what ordinary men and women of America had to say right after the attack on Pearl Harbor?

Well then, don't miss the American Memory program at our North Independence Branch on Wednesday, June 15, at 7p.m. This program will instruct and explore American historical and cultural resources contained in the American Memory collections. These vast online collections are the creation of the Library of Congress and other institutions. American Memory contains over 130 collections and more than 9 million items.

This presentation will also include some brief background information about the Library of Congress. So if you love great library collections, by all means, come to this program!
