Featured Employee of the Month of October

The month of October, we are featuring Sarah as our Employee of the Month! Sarah is a Page at our Branch. She was gracious enough to stop putting several stacks of CDs away so I could interrogate her:

Me: Sarah, how long have you been working here as a Page?

Sarah: Three years.

Me: What do you like the most about your job?

Sarah: I guess being surrounded by books. That’s one of the reasons I started working here.

Me: And why do you like being around books?

Sarah: Because I like to read.

Me: And what do you like to read?

Sarah: Graphic novels, romance novels, and cookbooks. Sometimes crochet books, too.

Me: Do you cook and crochet?

Sarah: Yes I do! I cook for my dad. And I try to crochet, but it doesn’t end well. I’ve been working on this blanket for like five years!

Me: What are you currently reading?

Sarah: “You Don’t Know Jack.”

Well actually, Jack is my grandfather, so yes I do know him! Ha ha! Thank you, Sarah, for taking the time to answer my questions! If you have any additional questions for Sarah, please comment below.
