Q. What baseball announcer is credited with creating the seventh-inning stretch sing-along, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"?
A. Harry Caray
Caray made a habit of privately singing this song on his breaks, when broadcasting. One day, a hidden microphone was placed in the booth to allow the whole ballpark to hear him sing. To his amazement, all the fans started singing with him. From then on, a tradition was born in Chicago.
