When I think of summer, I think of farmer's market: fresh tomatoes, sweet corn, peaches, melons, beans, bread, honey, eggs, and many other good things to eat. Even better than the good food is the opportunity to say hello to people who live locally, and to pass the time of day for a few minutes in a happy family friendly atmosphere. You can also find beautiful plants, flowers, and hand crafted soap. Sometimes you can learn the best way to preserve or to cook an abundance of vegetables. People are always talking about my favorite subject, food. This is the place to find a tomato that really tastes like a tomato, also some of the best peaches and apples in America grow in our area. If you are looking for summer fun, plan a visit to the farmer's market.
