Never has an author captured my attention and held it the way author Edgar Rice Burroughs has in A Princess of Mars. Keep in mind, this is a classic science fiction tale now celebrating its centennial release. Hidden beneath the book's cover rests a giant imagination, a wonderful protagonist, a beautiful princess, and a world you can hardly imagine. This is but the beginning of Burroughs eleven novel series based upon the dying world of Barsoom (Mars).

To coincide with the centennial release of A Princess of Mars, Walt Disney has released in theatres a movie version of the book simply called John Carter. This is a must see for fans of the series. Whether you’re from Virginia, Thark, Zodanga, or Helium, you will enjoy this classic novel series from a great sci-fi author.
