Family Time with Ms. Dennise

On Friday July 9th, I heard barking in the library and thought nothing of it. I knew, of course, it had to be Ms. Dennise. Sure enough twenty pairs of eyes were glued to her every word. No giggling, no wiggling, just happy listeners.

A few months ago we asked Dennise to cover storytime for an absent employee. Once she brought her secret stash of puppets from the trunk, we knew we had to find her a story hour of her own stat! She’s been performing storytime at libraries for the past twenty years and now Lee’s Summit is lucky enough to have Dennise on staff at our branch. Dennise presents storytime every Friday at 10 AM and Saturdays at 11.
