Falling Leaves
September 24, 2010
I I saw the leaves falling from the trees this weekend, and was reminded that autumn is here. Even though, it still feels like summer. It won’t be long, and we will have to break out the sweaters and start raking those pesky leaves. I am also reminded that it is the time of year to get our homes and gardens ready for winter. There are numerous books at your favorite library to help you with this chore. Check out a few titles I found recently: Save Energy Save Money!, The Complete Photo Guide to Home Improvement, and Growing Vegetables and Fruit Around the Year. There never seems to be a lack of projects to hurry up and finish before winter weather and the holiday season get started. Autumn is my favorite time of year; it’s that last burst of energy before the big sleep. Hope you enjoy this time of year as much as I do, don't work to hard, and make sure to read a good book or two.
