Eurovision Week!

It's Eurovision week, and that means lots of good, crazy, and downright odd music out of Europe.

What's Eurovision, you ask? Imagine that for American Idol they entered one song per US state. Eurovision is a similar competition except in Europe. Singers are entered from various countries in Europe all competing to not only win, but to host the contest the next year.

You might think that it's just some silly contest, but big artists like Céline Dion, ABBA, Olivia Newton-John and t.A.T.u. were all Eurovision entrants in the past.

For those interested in watching, the 2nd semi-final airs Thursday afternoon (in our time zone) and the final is this Saturday, both stream live from the official Eurovision webpage.

Who knows, perhaps this year's winner will be another known-name in music throughout the world!
