Election Time!

November 2, 2010 is the day for the mid-term election here in Missouri! Are you registered to vote? Have you moved? Either way, it’s no problem! Pay a visit to the Red Bridge Branch where we always have at least one person on staff who can help you update your voter registration or even register you to vote!
Requirements to register/change address:
- A citizen of the United States
- A resident of Clay, Cass, Jackson or Platte County. RESIDENTS OF KANSAS CANNOTREGISTER TO VOTE AT ANY MCPL BRANCH.
- You must be at least 18 years of age by Election Day.
- Pardoned, discharged or released from a felony conviction. (Proof is needed of this if it applies.)
- Not declared incompetent
All you need is the following:
- Photo ID (Driver’s license, passport, state ID)
- Something with your current address on it, if the current address is not on your photo identification. This document can be one of the following: a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or any other government issued document.
