Eat This, Not That!
November 09, 2010
This series of books, in a clear and concise way, shows us how to make the best food choices in the REAL world. The books are well organized, simple to use, and have great illustrations.
On the cover of Eat This, Not That!: The Best (& Worst) Foods in America, there are pictures of two banana split desserts. They both look absolutely mouthwatering, but the best choice is the Dairy Queen option at 520 calories over the worst choice from Baskin-Robbins at 1,010 calories.
Did you know that a McDonald's Egg McMuffin is a great breakfast choice at 300 calories, but a Hardee’s Breakfast Burrito is not at 780 calories? Kind of like comparison shopping, only with calories!
The author, David Zinczenko, is the editor-in-chief of Men’s Health and is a regular contributor to the Today show. The co-author, Matt Goulding, is also an editor of Men’s Health. Check out all their books to learn useful ideas while finding a way to explore the "no-diet weight loss solution."
FYI- There is a free iPhone app Eat This, Not That! The Game on iTunes and also free podcasts.
