Don't Miss the Bus

July 2nd was a joyous day for pedestrians; Independence’s own transit service, IndeBus, began. Centerpoint Medical Center, groceries, college, and shopping are more accessible through the new IndeBus. Check out the map and route schedule, or call 461-Ibus (4287) for additional information such as fares structure.

With a slogan of More Places, More Hours, Better Service, it is definitely worth a day to try it out.  The service extends into Saturday so perhaps you could try it out to do something really worthwhile like shopping.
