Does Your Car Need a Little TLC?
September 14, 2010
If your vehicle lights come on when you use the windshield wiper switch, your Mid-Continent Public Library branch has several computer databases that can help. We have databases from both Mitchell and Chilton. These have detailed instructions, pictures, and diagrams for working on just about any facet of your car or truck.
When you find what you need, prints can be made that you can take with you. It’s then so easy to set the instructions right by the project in the garage. You can access the Chilton database with your library card from any internet computer. The Mitchell database can only be used at library branches. Library staff are available to help you find the information you are seeking.
This section of databases on the Library website also has other resources. There are collections of information on small engines, boats, farm tractors, and mowers. The Automotive and Small Engine section contains this information. Do you need to know the firing order of the plugs on your favorite engine? We can help with that.
