Do You Have a Favorite Actress?

I do! Meryl Streep. So, I was intrigued when I came across a new book entitled The Meryl Streep Movie Club by Mia March. As I opened the book, I noticed a list of ten movies that featured the actress. I wondered how these would be incorporated into the story.

The setting for the book is an inn on the coast of Maine run by Lolly and her daughter Kat. The innkeeper, Lolly, has asked her two nieces to come home, as she has something to tell them.

As the story unfolds, the reader finds out that the inn has a weekly movie night, with this particular month dubbed Meryl Streep Month. With popcorn in hand, the guests and the family members settle down to watch the first movie, The Bridges of Madison County.

I decided to check out MCPL'a movies collection to see how many of the ten movies were available. I found seven. And in the process of returning DVDs to the shelves, I came across the DVD Meryl Streep, which was originally on the Biography Channel.

Happily, I'm doing my own Meryl Streep Month. Excuse me, as I must return to the TV to watch The Devil Wears Prada.

Now where's the popcorn?
