Sometimes a book appears in the catalog as a reference book and can’t be checked out. However, some reference books are now online as an electronic resource.
One such book is the Encyclopedia of Food and Culture. There is a very interesting article on how the sandwich came into being. Just go to the catalog, enter the title (Encyclopedia of Food and Culture) or click on the link above.
