Did Santa Bring You an eBook Reader?

December 21, 2012

It’s that time of year when new eBook readers seem to come out of the woodwork. Many people still don’t know that you can borrow eBook titles in addition to print materials. Best of all, they’re FREE! If you’ve been reading my blogs, you know how much I love a freebie.

Our eBook provider is called OverDrive. OverDrive has become much more user-friendly in the past few weeks. Selections available through OverDrive are also getting much more extensive. If you have any trouble navigating the OverDrive website, please feel free to call us. We’ll try to talk you through it over the phone, or if you prefer to make an appointment with one of our staff members, we can do that also.

If you are looking for a protective cover for your eBook reader, we can help you with that, too. On Monday, January 7th at 7:00 p.m., the Riverside Branch is hosting a class, Make Your Own eBook Reader Case. Protect your new reader and express your individuality with a custom-made cover! This program has a materials fee of $5.00. Hope to see you there.
