The Demon Barber and Christmas Carols: Both at the Library

This holiday season we have a few extra special treats for all of you. There are two new programs that have recently been added to our lineup at the Excelsior Springs Branch.

The first will be A Scene from Sweeney Todd. The two main performers of Slightly Off Broadway’s upcoming production of this musical play will be performing a scene at the Library on Tuesday, November 20th at 6:30 p.m. Wayne Day will appear as Sweeney Todd, and MCPL’s Erin Davies will be playing Mrs. Lovett.

The second program is just the thing to help you get into the true spirit of Christmas. Some young and talented singers will be coming from a school in Lawson to sing Christmas Carols at the Library. This program will be on Friday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m.
