Definition of an Awkward Moment: Sheldon Cooper
March 14, 2011
National Awkward Moment Day is quickly approaching on March 18. Everyone has had at least one awkward moment in their lives. It is inevitable; there is no way to avoid it.
The character Sheldon Cooper, from CBS’s The Big Bang Theory, is the definition of an awkward moment. Sheldon’s I.Q. is so high he doesn’t know how to communicate with normal people.
He can make the simplest situation awkward because he doesn’t get sarcasm. When somebody says something serious, he thinks they are kidding because he would never think like a normal person, which makes the situation awkward. Other people aren’t able to tell when he his joking either.
So, on National Awkward Moment Day act like Sheldon Cooper and make someone feel awkward!
