Dearborn Branch Hosts Morris the Moose
December 14, 2010
The Dearborn Branch of Mid-Continent Public Library had a visit today from Anitra Steele, Children's Specialist. She brought her friend Morris the Moose, who was heading to the North Pole to find a friend with antlers like his. The puppet show Morris Finds Christmas was enjoyed by twenty-nine children and adults.
Some of the audience were members of the North Platte Pre-School who arranged, as a class, to stop here on their way to carol at a nursing home. Adults and children had a good time as Professor Jeri Deli and the Library Frogs told knock-knock jokes. The puppet show lasted about thirty minutes and had material to interest people of all ages.
More and more, the Library is larger than just a collection of books. Today, we had a lonely moose and comic frogs. More surprises are sure to be just around the corner. Listings for other programs can be found on the Library's Events page.
