A Cure for the Summertime Blues

It’s that time of year again: too hot and humid to be outside, yet there’s nothing good to watch on tv.

If you are getting tired of all the reality programming that is pervading the television airwaves this summer, make a run to the air-conditioned cool of the Blue Springs South branch for some of your favorite tv shows on DVD.

Here you can find full seasons of classics such as Maude, Family Ties, and Magnum P.I. or you can get caught up on current favorites like Medium, How I Met Your Mother, and The Closer.   We even have episodes of favorite shows that only aired for a few seasons such as Dead Like Me and DVD sets of long running popular series like Lost.

If there are any titles you would like to borrow but don’t see on our shelves, just let us know.  We can request them from another branch or another library system through Interlibrary Loan.
