Crochet a Toy!

Have you ever wanted to make a toy for your child or grandchild? You can make a great toy by crocheting! I recently checked out A Zoo for You: 11 Animals to Crochet by Cynthia Harris. There was a giraffe that was too irresistible to pass up. The directions were easy to follow and it only took about a day to make. This perfect little guy would be a great toy for a baby or even a puppy.

A more advanced book to try is Creepy Cute Crochet: Zombies, Ninjas, Robots, and More! by Christen Haden. In this book, I found a ninja character that I thought my sister would like. The same base pattern is used throughout most of the book, so once you master it, you’re well on your way. These little guys aren’t really creepy but are most definitely cute and the results were amazing!
