Creatures on Camera
March 05, 2011
As the outside world begins its thaw from winter, it is the perfect time to fire up your cameras and capture on film some of the natural wonders around you.
Whether you head out to the Kansas City Zoo for a more wild approach or stick to the flora and fauna in your backyard, nature photography combines the elements of art with the fun of welding a camera.
It's true, unless you have a well-trained pet, chances of getting that perfect shot of the wildlife isn't going to come that easily. But with some patience and a steady camera-hand, you can manage some photographic masterpieces in no time.
For those new to the field of nature photography, to the pros looking for some new tips, check out our selection of books on the subject. You never know- your snapshot of a snail or portrait of a polar bear could be the next nature photography masterpiece!
