Crafting Season Is Here!

Christmas and other seasonal holidays are once again knocking at our doors. Many of these occasions require the giving of a gift. Gifts are not compulsory, but it is a nice way of saying "Thank you," "You are loved," "You are special," "Season’s Greetings," etc...

At the Boardwalk Branch, we encourage our crafters to check out craft books and magazines early, as books on the various subjects are flying out the door. Have you explored our shelves or catalog yet? What about the Hobbies and Crafts Reference Center database located on the DIY and Hobbies section of MCPL's Online Resources?

Time is essential, as I am knitting a cardigan for my granddaughter, a blanket for another granddaughter, mittens for a daughter, and socks for a son-in-law! I have to knit every spare minute I can. What about YOU? What needlecrafts do you need to complete prior to the all-important holiday?
