Cooking up a Good Mystery
December 02, 2010
Writers are so creative with their titles and book content. To combine food and a murder mystery makes for a great book, especially if you like both.
Tiles, such as Crime Brulee and Dying For Chocolate, make you want to read and cook at the same time.
I found some mystery writers that write about food. Many of the books include some recipes. Some of these authors are:
| Isis Crawford | Lou Jane Temple |
| Denise Dietz | Josi Kilpack |
| Ellen Hart | J. B. Stanley |
| Diane Mott Davidson | Nancy Herndon |
| Claudia Temple |
Check out Fiction Connection in the MCPL resource databases under Books and Reading, type in culinary mysteries, or just go to Fictionconnection.com on the internet.
Curl up with a good mystery book, and then head to the kitchen to bake up some food to share while you discuss the book with family and friends. Enjoy!
