MCPL has a secret mascot. The branch this mascot lives in is a………. secret.
What is this mascot? Hmmmm. Would you like some hints? Well then, here are a few.
The mascot is tall, slightly fluffy, cute, and has a long, long tail. Do you know yet? No?
Need more clues? Hmmmm. This mascot is furry, well mannered, AND loves to speak in rhyme.
Got it? No? Hmmmm. Okay, big red tie, tall red and white hat!
Yes, it’s the Cat In The Hat, and he is coming back! 

That rhyming "cat" will be visiting The Blue Springs North and Lee’s Summit branches.
