This month the Colbern Road Evening Book Club will be discussing Breathless by Dean Koontz. Join us Wednesday, February 27th at 7:00 p.m., as we dig into this bestseller.

Koontz takes us into a near perfect September afternoon where Grady and his dog, Merlin, come upon a strange pair of creatures. They are magnificent, wondrous white animals that are beyond description, and they just happen to follow Grady and Merlin home. Little do they know, though, that the singular act of inviting these mysterious beings into their home will involve Grady and Merlin in a national security crisis.

Chaos ensues and we find that what does not make sense at first has a purpose in the end. As each character journeys toward his destiny, their stories become a bridge between what was and what is.
