Collaborative Journals: Express Yourself!
June 14, 2012
Are you a creator? Do you draw, paint, or collage? Do you write poetry or stories? We have a project for you! Several branches are participating in a new Collaborative Journal project, and we are pretty excited.
What's a collaborative journal? Well, we'll have blank notebooks available for you to express yourselves. Use pens, pencils, markers, crayons, paint...whatever you want to make your mark. We hope you will be respectful, and remember that other people will be seeing these. Be positive, be expressive, and be creative!
The journals will travel from branch to branch, so you will be able to share your work with people near and far!
These are the branches that are participating:
- Claycomo
- Kearney
- North Independence
- North Oak
- Parkville
- Smithville
- South Independence
If you can't find the journal, be sure to ask for your local friendly Teen Specialist!
