CMA Awards

If you are a country music fan like me, then come on down to any MCPL branch. We all have the country music, and then some, that you can find.

Speaking of country music, did you know that the Country Music Association Awards are coming up soon? The Awards are airing on CBS on Wednesday, November 9th, and are hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. The biggest award of the night is Entertainer of the Year. The five nominees include Paisley (who is the reigning Entertainer of the Year), Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and Blake Shelton. All of the contenders are worthy, and it is a tough one to predict. However, I predict either Shelton or Aldean will win, as neither has won before. Performers of the night include: Martina McBride, Luke Bryan, The Band Perry, and many others. Paisley and Underwood will sing their smash hit, "Remind Me." I will be glued to my TV that night!

MCPL carries CDs by the nominees and performers mentioned. I have been checking them out, and will continue to do so. I hope you utilize your MCPL branch too!
