Chuck Norris Awareness Week

October 22, 2010

My reasons for making it Chuck Norris Awareness Week(CNAW):

A few years ago, I made a New Year's resolution to shed a little Norris on this world. So, I made it my goal to tell my mailman the same Chuck Norris joke every day for a year. By the end of March, not only had our friendship deteriorated, but my mailman began to wad all of my letters and bills into a small ball, wrap duct tape around the ball, and then he would throw the ball at my vinyl siding.

I'm still peeling those silver warts of postage off the side of my house!

In closing, Chuck Norris is not a joke.

There's nothing funny about a Texas Ranger doing his job.

There is nothing funny about a six-time World Middleweight Karate Champion teaming up with a dog to fight terrorists in San Diego.

There are many ways of making others aware of Chuck Norris. I don't know them all. In fact, I only know one way. I call it the Chuck Norris Avenue of Awareness, and you can find it here.

If you find any more Chuck Norris Awareness practices throughout the week, please share them!

The betterment and success of Chuck Norris Awareness Week rests in your hands.
