Christmas Crafters!
November 23, 2012
The Platte City Branch is starting to celebrate the holidays with some excellent Christmas craft programs. They are a great opportunity to make someone a unique gift or create a new decoration for your own home.
On Monday, November 26th our Monday craft program is making Christmas crackers. These fun creations are "great white elephant gifts" or stocking stuffers. Just bring along a few small gift items, candy, or toys to stuff inside your Christmas cracker. This program starts at 6:00 p.m.
On Thursday, November 29th you can make Christmas Napkins. Using folding, ironing, and some simple sewing, you can create a set of Christmas tree napkins. If you have a portable sewing machine, bring it along! The fun starts at 7:00 p.m.
Finally, we are presenting our Beaded Christmas Tree program on Saturday, December 1st. This is a one day, three hour class that starts at 1:00 p.m. You can learn to make a beautiful tree out of beads and safety pins. Materials for this class cost $14.
Don’t miss out on all the upcoming fun programs we have at the Platte City Branch. Registration is required.
