A Christmas Carol Performance

November 23, 2011

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is brought to life at MCPL. Join us Tuesday, November 29th, 7:00 p.m. at Blue Springs North Branch as David zum Brunnen portrays the 17 Christmas Carol characters and Dickens himself. A favorite for all ages, this excellent performance rings in the Christmas cheer as we hear from Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Mr. Fezzwig, Bob Cratchit, and the four Ghosts of Christmas, just to name a few.

Join us as Ebenezer Scrooge, an old miser who is visited by all four ghosts, realizes the choices he has made in life have produced consequences that might just become too hard to bear. In the end, he is given the chance to make a big difference in his life and all those around him. As Ebenezer said, "I will start anew, I will make amends, and I will make quite certain, that the story ends, on a note of hope, on a strong amen, and I'll thank the world, and remember when I was able to begin again!"

Bring the whole family to see the wonderful performance, and enjoy refreshments to top it off the evening.
