It’s a beautiful fall Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs just won yet again, and you are on top of the world, feeling like you can do anything. You look outside the window, and you get a brilliant idea! You decide you are going to do some repairs on your car, and save the cost of having a maintenance garage do it. Then, you go and spend the money you saved on a brand new 48” plasma TV. Oh but wait, it’s Sunday. The library is not open on Sunday to get a Chilton’s auto repair manual. Well, you feel yourself deflate a little bit. Now, you are not sure what you will do for the rest of the afternoon, and your dreams of that plasma TV just went out that window. Then you remember, the library has Chilton’s auto repair manuals online! Yes! You can still work on becoming a car guru!

Our online auto repair databases can be accessed remotely. If you have a laptop and WIFI capabilities, you have the option to bring that laptop out to the garage and bring up Research Databases to access repair databases and how-to videos that way. So…take on that car repair on a whim, your local library is still there to back you up!
