Children's Book Club Is Back!

We’ve had quite a few people ask about the Blue Ridge Branch’s Children’s Book Club over the summer months, and now that we’re post Summer Reading Program it is back up and running! This book club is for 4th -6th graders, so if you or anyone you know fits the bill, it meets on the second Saturday of every month.

The next Blue Ridge Book Club meeting is September 11, 2010. The book we'll be discussing is Fight For Life by Laurie Halse Anderson. 
 
This is reading for fun!  There is no homework to go with it!  Read the month’s book when you can, show up, and talk a little about what you think about it.  Or listen to what other people think about it.  No writing assignments, no pop quizzes, and you get to be completely honest about whether or not you liked it.

Just hanging out at the library talking about a book.  And what could possibly make this better?  Well, that would be snacks.
