Can You Guess Who This Is?

April 04, 2011

Born James Smith, this person went on to star in nearly 40 films. He has also won two Grammy Awards out of seven nominations for narration. He has been awarded ten Audie Awards, a record, and holds the world record for most original recorded character voices at 146.

You may have seen him on Broadway or in the movie, Pete’s Dragon. You may have even heard him narrate the TV Series Pushing Daisies, but if you haven’t heard him read the Harry Potter audiobooks, you are truly missing out. His storytelling ability is only a part of his talents. Every voice is distinct, and he can brilliantly convey the mood of the stories.

Give up? It’s Jim Dale. The first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out on DVD soon, so what better time to catch up on his adventures? Checkout or place a hold on the Harry Potter audiobooks and prepare to immerse yourself in a wonderful wizardly world with Jim Dale.
