Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa by Erica Silverman is a cute book for young readers about a horse named Cocoa and her owner, Cowgirl Kate. Cocoa can talk, and what little girl wouldn’t want her pet to talk? Cocoa and Cowgirl have several adventures that generally take place on their farm.

I enjoyed the delightful illustrations and the occasional sounds of the other farm animals. This is a must read for any cowgirls or girls who like to wear cowgirl boots!
