Bubbles, the Library Fish
April 04, 2013
Many of you may have a read a great book called Dewey: the Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World. Here at Weston, we have our own little version of Dewey…his name is Bubbles, the fish.
Bubbles is a beta fish who has lived at the Library for several weeks now. Let me tell you, he’s really got a great thing going. He gets tons of company from the kids who come in, and he loves to hang around the computer when people are returning books and checking out. Beware: He’s even been known to beg for food if he sees you coming. Bubbles is so popular here at the Library that he even has buddies who keep him company. We invite visitors to the Library to bring in a photo of their pet and it gets to hang on our "Local Furry Friends" bulletin board. Bubbles enjoys seeing the photos of his friends as he swims around his tank!
So, if you a regular of the Library or you are new to Weston, please stop by the branch and say hi to Bubbles and his buddies. He loves to have visitors, and we love to have new people stop by to check him out.
Just don’t forget to bring your favorite pet’s photo so they can join Local Furry Friends!
