I've been a Bruce Springsteen fan ever since I saw him in concert when I was a freshman in high school in 1984. So, I was pretty excited to read the exhaustive, new, authorized biography of "The Boss."

Bruce by Peter Ames Carlin covers Bruce's life and career, from his days playing the bars and clubs up and down the Jersey Shore to the current tour in support of his great new album Wrecking Ball. Carlin interviews family members, band members, friends, and fellow artists to put together one of the most definitive rock and roll biographies of the past few years. I highly recommend this book if you're a Springsteen fan or a fan of rock and roll in general.
