Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I believe you would be hard pressed to find someone who has not been affected in some way by this cancer. Check your local branch of MCPL for materials. We have something for everyone, from medical tomes through hysterically funny personal tales. They say humor, or at least your frame of mind, can help with the healing process. I think you would find some very inspirational and informative stories. Above is a photograph of two of MCPL’s survivors and a "Good-bye Cancer" quilt that was created by the Antioch Library Quilters.
