Book Title Poems #2
June 06, 2011
Here’s another poem I wrote, but instead of using book titles, I used movie titles. You simply stack different movies together and read the title names from the spine. Rearrange the movies in the stack until a simple poem is formed. It’s a simple and fun way to explore the different movie selections at the library. Here’s the one that I tried from our shelves:
Did You Hear About the Morgans?
Yes Man
Stranger than Fiction
Precious
Duplicity
It’s a Wonderful Life
P.S. I Love You
The way that you read the poems you have just created changes the way the poem is perceived. Try adding more enthusiasm or pauses in different areas to make your poem just the way you want it. Enjoy finding great titles and creating new poems at the library today!
