Book Series for Guys

This Repairman Jack series by F. Paul Wilson is rather interesting in that it blends several genres, including hard-boiled detective, science fiction and even horror into a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining series. Jack is described to be the secretive, ingenious, and heroic champion of those whose problems no one can solve. He is a favorite author of Stephen King and Dean Koontz. The series of 13 novels to date does not need to be read in order to get the full feel of the character; they are all excellent stand alone novels. The entire series for Adults is available in the MCPL system starting with Conspiracies. There is also a 2 title Repairman Jack series for Youth which MCPL also has.
